A first-of-its-kind show bringing 27 brands together needed a visual language as forward-looking as the cars on display. Technology and innovation were at the core of the concept, so every piece had to feel dynamic, modern and unmistakably tech. Context was just as important: people would be walking past the LED screens rather than standing in front of them, and the animations had to work for an audience in motion.

That context defined the pacing. I worked with fast, energetic timing and easing, but kept them controlled so each message held long enough for people to read it as they walked by. Kinetic typography and sharp transitions carried the tech aesthetic, while generative AI gave me a starting point for some of the backgrounds, which I then integrated into the rest of the visual system.

Everything was animated in After Effects, then adapted to each output: LED screens, tutorial videos, social media and podcasts. Beyond the animation itself, I led the motion design process alongside a fellow designer, coordinating the workflow and managing assets to keep every delivery visually consistent and at the highest quality across formats.

Conclusion
Conclusion

Seeing the animations running on the LED screens, surrounded by the cars and the crowd, was the best way to close the project. The turnout was incredible, and I got to celebrate with the team that made it happen. It’s a great example of how motion design can give a live event its energy, guiding people through the space while reinforcing the idea behind it.
